A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has been made aware that playing time is set to prove altogether tough to come by for him in Catalunya’s capital this season.
That’s according to journalist Helena Condis of COPE, who points towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.
The name of youngster Casadó has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Barcelona over the last couple of days.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the 21-year-old has made his way onto the radar of not one, but two Premier League clubs.
As per the reliable Matteo Moretto, writing for Marca, both West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing late-window deals for Casadó.
And with as much in mind, the Spanish international has been informed that minutes will likely be scarce for him in Hansi Flick’s squad in 2025/26.
As per a report from the aforementioned Helena Condis:
‘Marc Casadó has been told he will have few minutes.’
Despite as much, however, the player has made clear to the Camp Nou brass that his only intention is to stay put to fight for his place in Blaugrana colours.
