Barcelona & Real Madrid stars nominated for La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

Leading players from Spanish football’s two top clubs have on Wednesday been nominated for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for November.

From table-topping Barcelona, Dani Olmo gets the nod after finding the net twice in two appearances in domestic play this month.

Real Madrid wide-man Vinícius Jr. is also up for the prize, having rattled off a hat-trick in his sole appearance in November thus far, against Osasuna.

Elsewhere on the list of nominees, Takefusa Kubo’s excellence against Sevilla and Barcelona is recognised, whilst Giuliano Simeone is in the running, too, after managing a goal and an assist in two appearances.

And rounding out the five-man shortlist for La Liga Player of the Month comes Girona defender Arnau Martínez:

The candidates for Manager of the Month in Spain’s top-flight have also this evening been unveiled, with Diego Simeone (Atlético), Míchel (Girona) and Imanol (Real Sociedad) put forward:
