Barcelona will be aiming to take advantage of dropped points in the Madrid derby when they visit Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday evening.

La Blaugrana are still firmly in the title picture following an impressive start to the new year, with eight victories from ten outings in 2025. Hansi Flick's side have been formidable in the final third and are averaging just under three goals per game in the league.

Barcelona flexed their attacking muscles on Thursday with a 5-0 thrashing of Valencia in the Copa del Rey and will be eager to replicate that scoreline in Andalusia this weekend. They put five goals past Sevilla back in October and will be strong favourites to earn a routine victory.

Here is how Barcelona could line up.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny - Flick has reiterated his faith in the veteran goalkeeper despite an error-strewn start to life in Catalonia. Confidence levels will be boosted by two consecutive clean sheets.

RB: Jules Kounde - Kounde produced an impressive performance to keep Valencia quiet on Thursday night and will start his 21st La Liga match of the campaign on Sunday.

CB: Ronald Araujo - The Uruguay international was rested against Valencia as an unused substitute, with Barcelona still managing his minutes somewhat after a lengthy injury layoff earlier this term.

CB: Pau Cubarsi - With Barcelona four goals ahead at the break in Valencia, Cubarsi was replaced by the returning Inigo Martinez. The 18-year-old has featured in every single league match this season.

LB: Alejandro Balde - Balde was also withdrawn at half-time midweek and should be fresh for the trip to Sevilla. The youngster's speed and forward running have been key to Barcelona's attacking success.

DM: Marc Casado - Casado and Frenkie de Jong have been forced to share minutes since the latter returned from the sidelines. The Spaniard could come into the starting XI after only making a cameo from the bench against Valencia.

DM: Pedri - Barcelona's metronome is a guaranteed starter when fit and so often dictates the tempo for Flick's side. He's been mightily impressive in the double pivot for La Blaugrana throughout the campaign.

RW: Lamine Yamal - Yamal added another goal to his tally on Thursday, taking his total to 11 for the season. The generational talent is likely to play a decisive role against Sevilla in a relentless Barcelona forward unit.

AM: Dani Olmo - Olmo returned from injury midweek having been absent for several weeks and the Spaniard could come into the starting XI on Sunday. Gavi's potential absence due to a head injury only increases the summer signing's chances of featuring.

LW: Raphinha - Six goals and five assists since the turn of the year is an eye-catching tally, with the Brazilian's form showing no signs of letting up anytime soon. He's been simply breathless this term.

ST: Robert Lewandowski - Lewandowski scored a brace in the reverse fixture in October and is rested for Sunday after sitting out the win against Valencia. The Pole was the match-winner last weekend against Deportivo Alaves.
