Torre, for his part, has remained determined to remain at Barcelona for the longest time, but his prirority appears to be changing lately.

Torre convinced of the Mallorca move

According to Matteo Moretto, Pablo Torre is now convinced of the move to Mallorca this summer after multiple deliberations.

This comes on the back of several earlier developments, including the Mallorca coach calling up Torre to explain his role in the team’s setup next season.

However, this bit of news will serve as relief for Mallorca, considering the fact that European outfits such as Marseille and Ajax have emerged as fresh suitors for the midfielder.

Both clubs are reportedly willing to steal a march on Mallorca’s pursuit of the young midfielder.

But with Torre convinced of the idea to join the La Liga outfit this summer, the onus will be on Barcelona and Mallorca to finalise an agreement in the coming days.

It remains unclear as to whether or not Torre is pushing for a move only to Mallorca or if he is open to joining Ajax or Marseille as well.

But whatever may be the case, it will be in Barcelona’s best interest to soon finalise the transfer of the former Racing Club prodigy, which in turn, could go a long way in further reducing pressure on the club’s wage bill.
