According to a recent revelation made by Fichajes, it has come to light that Barcelona are keeping a close watch on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
The situation has come to light because the forward’s place in Enzo Maresca’s squad may be under threat following the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
With Chelsea’s attack becoming increasingly crowded, Barcelona see a chance to bring in the 24-year-old on loan, a move that could benefit all parties involved.
Jackson has shown great promise in his time at Stamford Bridge. His mix of strength, pace, and an eye for goal impressed many during his first two seasons in the Premier League.
But with new competition up front, regular minutes may become harder to come by. Chelsea are reportedly open to a loan deal, as long as the player gets game time and visibility.

For Barcelona, the idea of bringing in a forward on loan is very appealing, especially with the club’s limited financial room. Hansi Flick is looking for attacking options that offer speed, movement, and the ability to switch roles across the frontline.
Jackson’s profile fits that need well. A temporary move to Camp Nou would give the player a chance to shine on a bigger stage while offering Flick the flexibility he wants in his squad.
No formal talks have started yet, but Barcelona have already identified Jackson as a player of interest.
At just 24, with experience in one of the toughest leagues in Europe, the Senegal international ticks many boxes for the club. A move to La Liga could be ideal for Jackson if the conditions suit everyone involved.
As the summer window unfolds, Barcelona will be watching closely. If Chelsea are willing to negotiate a loan and the player is guaranteed minutes, Jackson could become a key addition to Flick’s new-look attack.
