Barcelona could potentially lose out on signing one of their key attacking targets, Mohamed Salah, as the Egyptian winger has reportedly become a priority for Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, reports AS.
This unexpected development follows reports that Neymar’s future at Al Hilal appears uncertain. The Brazilian forward is in the final months of his stint with the Saudi club, with no discussions about a contract renewal currently underway.
As a result, the focus has now shifted towards Salah, who has become a prime target for the Saudi side.
Al Hilal are planning for the future and seem determined not to repeat their past mistakes. Among all the names being considered, Salah stands out as their preferred choice.

With his contract at Liverpool set to expire in June, like Neymar’s, it appears increasingly unlikely that Salah will remain in the Premier League beyond this season.
This situation has also caught the attention of Barcelona. Salah has consistently been one of the world’s top performers for several seasons, making him an appealing prospect for the Catalan giants.
His uncertain future at Liverpool has sparked widespread speculation, especially after he expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of a contract renewal offer. This has put several top European clubs on alert, with Barcelona being one of them.
While Barcelona have yet to take concrete action, Salah’s availability could prove tempting, particularly as they continue to evaluate their attacking options.
The presence of Lamine Yamal on the right wing has provided a boost for the team, but Salah’s experience and proven track record could add further firepower to their frontline.
However, with Al Hilal actively pursuing the Egyptian star, Barcelona may face stiff competition if they decide to enter the race for his signature.
