Barcelona facing tough start as club’s Champions League schedule confirmed | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday been made aware of the scheduling of their fixtures in the league stage of the upcoming edition of the Champions League.

And Hansi Flick’s troops are facing up to something of a tough start…

First on the agenda for Barcelona is a tricky trip to England, to visit Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

And as much will be followed by a home outing in the 2nd round, against none other than reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Olympiacos and Club Brugge are up next, before another high-profile showdown with English opposition, on this occasion in the form of Chelsea.

Rounding out the Blaugrana’s continental calendar for 2025 will be a home meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt, before further clashes with Slavia Praha and FC Copenhagen following the turn of the year.
