Bayern Munich look increasingly likely to part ways with Bryan Zaragoza after the 23-year-old winger failed to establish himself in the squad, and new suitors have emerged from La Liga, according to FCBInside and Bavarian Football Works.

After arriving from Granada for about €17 million in the winter of 2024, Zaragoza struggled for minutes at Bayern and spent the end of last season on loan at Osasuna. He did not feature in Vincent Kompany’s plans during the Club World Cup, a decision underlining his uncertain future in Munich. Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund acknowledged during the tournament that the club was already seeking a solution: “There are some interested parties for Bryan. We’ll see what the coming weeks bring.”

While Zaragoza had previously been linked with moves to Olympiacos and a transfer to Celta Vigo had reportedly reached an advanced stage—Sky reporting negotiations for a fee of around €15 million—no deal has materialized so far. Real Betis have also shown interest, but without any significant breakthrough.

Now, as reported by El Chiringuito and picked up by FCBInside, FC Barcelona have entered the race, contacting Zaragoza’s representatives. According to Bild, Barca’s sporting directors see Zaragoza as a budget-friendly option for the left wing, alongside higher-profile—but more expensive—targets like Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford. Zaragoza’s potential acquisition would not require Barcelona to commit to him as a starter immediately, as the positions on the right wing are already well-covered by Lamine Yamal and Raphinha. Instead, the Catalans could gradually integrate him, which has reportedly increased their interest given their financial constraints.

Despite his promise and technical ability, Zaragoza has yet to find consistency at the top level. His next destination may finally give him the opportunity for more regular game time—though at Barcelona, competition remains stiff. For Bayern, any transfer now would likely reflect a loss, compared to their original investment, yet a resolution would bring clarity as the club continues to reshape under Kompany.

Negotiations involving several clubs look set to continue over the coming weeks. With Zaragoza under contract in Munich but out of favour, both Bayern and the player are waiting to see which suitor will step forward decisively.
