The names of three players were discussed during a sit-down between Barcelona sporting director Deco and RCD Mallorca counterpart Pablo Ortells this week.
That’s according to journalist Juli Claramunt of Jijantes, who has provided an insight into the details of the meeting.
First on the agenda was the future of Barcelona winger Jan Virgili.
Youngster Virgili has long been linked with a move to Son Moix, ahead of a season plying his trade in Spanish football’s 4th tier with Barca Atlètic.
Next up came the name of Héctor Fort, widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out.
Out of the plans of manager Hansi Flick for the season ahead, the versatile full-back could yet link up with Mallorca on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.
And last up came the future of another winger, in Dani Rodríguez.
Working his way towards a return to competitive action after undergoing shoulder surgery this summer, youngster Rodríguez would likely find senior game time tough to come by in Barcelona this season.
On the lookout for reinforcements in the final third, Mallorca, in turn, are keen on a deal for the 20-year-old, too.
Expect further updates on the situation over the days ahead.
