Although there are not a lot of changes expected in this FC Barcelona team in the upcoming summer transfer window, there are still several players who are expected to leave the club in the coming few weeks.
One such player is the 22-year-old forward Ansu Fati, who has had another season to forget with the Blaugrana club this past season.

The Ligue 1 side Monaco is the best-placed team to get the Spaniard for the next season, and, according to Mundo Deportivo, negotiations continue between them and the Catalans as they are yet to agree on the amount that Monaco will pay for the forward’s loan.
However, there are some other terms of a potential agreement that are already known. One such term is the purchase option, which the Ligue 1 side will get to purchase the forward permanently for €12 million.
Still, Barcelona will continue to have some rights over the forward even if Monaco exercise this permanent purchase option. This is because the Catalans would get a significant portion of any transfer fee if the principality club decided to sell the Spaniard in the future.

But the party that will benefit the most from such an operation would undoubtedly be Fati, who will have the opportunity to get continued playing time on the pitch after very little prominence enjoyed with the Blaugrana team in the last season.
In total, he made only 11 appearances, accumulating only 298 minutes and starting only 3 games. He was unable to score a goal or give an assist in these appearances.
Still, the La Masia graduate was reluctant to leave Barcelona, but the AS Monaco coach, Adi Hutter, and CEO, Thiago Scuro, were finally able to convince him to join their team for the next season.
Ansu Fati has now been promised significant game time with a team that will be competing in the UEFA Champions League for the second consecutive season, and hopefully, he will take full advantage of this opportunity to return to his best level.
