Barcelona call up a highly promising 18-year-old goalkeeper for Getafe game | OneFootball

With Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s injury, there are some changes expected to take place in the short and long terms. The youngster has stood out for his wingspan, his reflexes, and his ability to control the ball with his feet. Although an introvert by nature, he usually leads his teams on the pitch and is expected to be one of the great goalkeepers in the years to come.

This is not the first time that he has been called up by the first team. Xavi had already called him up once during the last season, and Rafa Marquez has also turned to him for Barcelona Atletic. Last year, he was the starting goalkeeper for the Juvenil A in the UEFA Youth League.
