Those in a position of power at La Liga giants Barcelona have forwarded a message to the club’s head coach, regarding their plans to return to the Spotify Camp Nou.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who confirms that this came in the form of confirmation that the club’s return to their home ground has been delayed once more.
The subject of Barca’s Camp Nou comeback has of course dominated the headlines across Spain over the last 48 hours.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that, owing to bureaucratic issues, the upcoming Joan Gamper Trophy match will not be played at the newly-renovated stadium.
Not only that, but if things do not improve quickly, Barcelona’s return home could be pushed back yet further.
There are no longer guarantees that the Catalans’ first home La Liga fixture this coming season will be held at the Camp Nou.
And as alluded to above, this is a fact which has now been passed on to Hansi Flick.
As per a report from AS:
‘Hansi Flick has already been informed, via the club, that starting the season again at the Lluís Companys Stadium cannot be ruled out.’
