With just a week remaining until the end of June, Barcelona are gearing up for a crucial week ahead.

The club are expected to close many economic deals during this timeframe, hoping to return to the 1:1 rule when the new cycle starts from next month.

What’s in store for Barcelona this week?

This is confirmed by MARCA‘s recent report, which suggests that Barcelona are prioritising returning to the 1:1 rule by completing several deals before the June 30 deadline.

The most critical operation hinges on LaLiga’s approval for the sale of 457 VIP seats at the Spotify Camp Nou.

This deal, expected to generate €100 million in revenue, is the cornerstone of Barça’s financial planning.

Once the deal is approved, it will allow the club to allocate every euro earned towards signings, allowing Deco and Hansi Flick to register new players, including Nico Williams.

This is perhaps the reason why Barcelona have set a crucial deadline of July 14 to complete the capture of the Spanish international.

Meanwhile, the club are also focused on closing the sale of the remaining stake in Barça Vision left unpaid by Libero.

Additionally, the accounts will be bolstered by income from sell-on clauses for former players, such as Jean-Clair Todibo and Ilaix Moriba.

These players are expected to register additional revenue to Barcelona’s coffers, all of which could go a long way in helping the club balance the books.

Apart from economic deals, Barcelona are also looking to secure the renewal of several star players, including Frenkie de Jong, who is ready to continue at Camp Nou after an excellent campaign.
