Zachary Athekame has just arrived in Milan and had his first taste of life at the Club and Milanello, and has now given his official presentation press conference at Casa Milan, broadcast live on the AC Milan Official App and Milan TV.

JOINING THE CLUB "I think everyone knows this Club's history. The project was convincing. I want to give 100% for the team. The first contact came around three weeks ago; it was a great feeling. I'm here to work, but I'm happy. I'm surrounded by fantastic players, which motivates me to give my all. You can learn from everyone here."

PLAYING AT SAN SIRO "There are no nerves or pressure. AC Milan is a historic club with a great stadium, which makes you give 400% for the team. It's just added motivation. It makes me want to play at San Siro even more."

ZACHARY'S CHARACTERISTICS AND DAILY WORK "In training, we're working hard on every aspect. I like to get forward and join the attack, but it's important to work as a team in both phases of the game. I usually play as a right-back in a back 4, but I also like to play as a wing-back in a 3-5-2 and cover the whole wing. I'm at the coach's disposal, and I will adapt to his choices."

MOTIVATION AND CLEAR IDEAS "My story inspires me, it motivates me. Being at a club like this is a big challenge that I want to tackle. I will give everything. I don't like to compare myself with other players; I take inspiration from great players, but I just want to focus on myself. There are a lot of talented youngsters in the Swiss league who are ready to take the next step in their development - that's what's happened to Jashari and me. I'm young; I like to learn, and I'm motivated to do it with top teammates."

THE WELCOME FROM THE GROUP AND ALLEGRI "They've all given me a great welcome. The dressing is full of players I can take inspiration from. Positive first impressions, and this made me want to come here. Allegri is a great coach, very disciplined. This allows me to improve and grow a lot. With the coach, we work a lot on tactics and defence. He makes it clear that defence is important and how we should all be able to defend well. Everyone has impressed me at Milanello, and the facility is brilliant."
