Atalanta identify three possible Retegui replacements | OneFootball

Mateo Retegui is set to join Al Qadsiah from Atalanta, so La Dea are looking to Lorenzo Lucca, Giacomo Raspadori and Adam Daghim to reinforce their attack.

Italy international Retegui is on the verge of joining Saudi Side Al Qadsiah for nearly €70m.

The Atalanta striker has accepted a €20m-a-year contract offer.

La Dea are now searching for a new centre-forward in the market, and three possible reinforcements have emerged in recent hours.

Lorenzo Lucca of Udinese was already sounded out a few days ago. Giacomo Raspadori (Napoli) has been an Atalanta target since last summer; likewise, Daghim of Salzburg is somebody the club has been following for a while.

More transfer targets could emerge for Atalanta, and their attacking strategy will also depend on Ademola Lookman’s future.

Atalanta could decide to sign two new strikers this summer, but will rely on the re-established Gianluca Scamacca for 2025-26 after the striker spent the entirety of the previous campaign on the sidelines while recovering from a knee injury.
