Spurs are aiming to keep hopes of domestic cup success alive
Tottenham are back in FA Cup action tomorrow evening as they face Aston Villa with a place in round five up for grabs. Spurs needed extra time to overcome non-league Tamworth in the last round whilst Villa came from behind to knock out West Ham.
The visitors are possibly under more pressure to progress especially after losing so comprehensively to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on Thursday night. The omens do look good for Ange Postecoglou's side as they've won on five of their last six visits to Villa Park, including a 4-0 thrashing just under a year ago.
With that said, Spurs will be without a host of key first-team players such as Dominic Solanke, Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven and Richarlison. As for the visitors, star striker Ollie Watkins is among five absentees, but January signings Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio could make their debuts as Axel Disasi is cup-tied having featured for Chelsea in round three.
Both Postecoglou and Unai Emery addressed the media on Friday ahead of the game. You can follow this blog for all the latest team news and build-up ahead of kick-off on Sunday evening.
