Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen for a fee of €23m (£19.4m) plus €3m in add-ons.
The Dutch international, who played four times for his country at EURO 2024, fulfils Unai Emery's desire to add a versatile player to his front line.
Malen is capable of playing on both flanks, as well as through the middle, as he has done for both club and country.
The 25-year-old leaves Dortmund after three-and-a-half-seasons, having made the move to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2021 from PSV Eindhoven. He made 132 appearances for the club, scoring 39 times.
Malen will hope to make his debut for Villa on Saturday when they take on his former side Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
