AS Monaco turns down West Ham offer for Soungoutou Magassa

West Ham has joined the race to sign Franco-Malian midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, but their bid has already been rejected.

After interest from Nottingham Forest and AS Roma, West Ham is now trying its luck with Soungoutou Magassa. According to Foot Mercato, the Hammers submitted an offer of €16 million plus €3 million in bonuses to lure the Monaco midfielder.

However, this amount failed to convince ASM, who turned down the proposal from the London club. West Ham is already planning to submit a new bid. For the record, Magassa is under contract with AS Monaco until 2029.
