Mariona Caldentey has been crowned Barclays WSL Player of the Year after an outstanding debut season with Arsenal, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.

The Spanish forward also received Arsenal’s Mastercard Player of the Season award ahead of the 4–3 win over Manchester United.

Mariona said, “I’m super happy because I really enjoyed my first season here. Everyone helped me.”
