Arsenal have been told that they must pay at least £35m upfront to sign Ebere Eze this summer, the Guardian are reporting.
They say Crystal Palace are “determined not to allow him to leave for less than a fee that could reach up to £67.5m including bonuses”, with the Gunners needing to pay more than half of that upfront.
It is added that Arsenal have held initial talks with Palace over a deal for Eze, who are not willing to accept any bids below his release clause of almost £70m.
Meanwhile, the Telegraph say Manchester United have opened talks with RB Leipzig to try and sign striker Benjamin Sesko.
But The Athletic report that the asking price for Sesko is around €75m guaranteed plus add-ons as well as a percentage of any future sale.
The Telegraph also add that United are interested in bringing in PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, though Chelsea and Manchester City also remain keen.
Elsewhere, Sky Sports report that Alexander Isak is training individually at his former club Real Sociedad’s training facilities amid uncertainty over his Newcastle future.
Liverpool remain keen on signing the Sweden international and are expected to launch a bid following the departure of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich.
Aston Villa have made an inquiry for Porto forward Samu Aghehowa, the Daily Mail says.
Various reports also claim that Villa are keen on forward Baris Alper Yilmaz of Galatasaray.
The Mirror report that Alejandro Garnacho’s preference is to join Chelsea this summer, but that any move is not dependent on Nicolas Jackson leaving the Blues.
United are said to want at least £40m for the Argentinian winger.
Sunderland have reached an agreement with NEC Nijmegen to sign Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs, the Athletic say.
And L’Equipe report that Lyon have agreed personal terms with Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton ahead of a possible move.
