Arsenal midfielder Jorginho could leave the club during the January transfer window due to a lack of consistent game time, according to recent reports.
The 33-year-old has entered the final six months of his Arsenal deal having initially joined the club halfway through the 2022/23 campaign from London rivals Chelsea for £12m, and looks increasingly unlikely to be offered a fresh contract.
The 57-cap Italy international has been used sparingly by Mikel Arteta this season and has made just nine starts in all competitions, leaving him frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities.
According to ESPN, Jorginho is now considering an exit and has been offered to Brazilian club Palmeiras following a meeting between the player's agent and Arsenal.
Palmeiras and fellow Brazilian outfit Flamengo are the two clubs that Jorginho, who was born in Brazil despite representing the Italian national team, would consider joining during the winter window.
Arsenal may be tempted to cash in on the midfielder in January before he leaves for free in the summer, potentially releasing funds that could used to reinvest in the squad ahead of the second half of the campaign.

The Gunners are still vying for the Premier League title despite sitting six points behind league leaders Liverpool, but they have struggled for creativity and attacking inspiration in recent weeks - an issue exacerbated by a long-term injury to Bukayo Saka.
Arteta has fielded questions over whether his side could make any additions over the January window to help solve their creative issues, but the Spaniard has kept his cards close to his chest in recent interviews despite admitting that he's forged a squad with "limitations" during past windows.
"We are very aware because we have certain squad limitations and a lot of gaps to cover to become the team that we want and then the availability of those players to afford them if you want to," Arteta recently confessed.
"Sometimes that means it's not possible. Bringing in bodies doesn't help at all. It is just someone who can immediately impact on performance and bring something we don’t have. In this market it is very difficult to achieve."
