Arsenal interested in AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana | OneFootball

Youssouf Fofana (25) is ending the season strongly for AS Monaco and is one of the figures leading the Principality club back towards the UEFA Champions League. However, should Fofana help lead Les Monégasques back to the upper echelons of the European game, there is no guarantee that he remains at the club, according to Foot Mercato.

It had been expected that Fofana would leave Monaco last season, however, ultimately, an offer that suited the Ligue 1 club and the player did not arrive, despite late interest from Fulham most notably. This season, Fofana has found a greater degree of consistency in his performances, especially in the second half of the season and some of Europe’s biggest clubs are circling.

Foot Mercato understands that Paris Saint-Germain, who have previously been linked with a move for the France international, have enquired about Fofana’s availability this summer. Outside of France, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are also following the midfielder, who seems likely to leave Monaco at the end of the season.
