The Brighton winger has scored ten Premier League goals this season and is also reportedly attracting interest from Bayern Munich.

But Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany says the Gunners are also keen on signing the Japanese international.

Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is said to be considered a “dream signing” for Mikel Arteta but Mitoma is also a possibility.

Meanwhile, the Sun are reporting that Arsenal are weighing up a move for their former goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who could depart Aston Villa this summer.
