Arsenal are continuing to pursue a deal for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze despite ongoing talks for Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke.
The Gunners contacted Eze’s representatives earlier this month to discuss a deal and the 26-year-old is keen on a move to North London.
Eze has a release clause of around £68m in his contact at Palace, that can be paid in instalments. Arsenal’s interest in Eze is understood to be inter-dependent of deals for Gyokeres and Madueke, in which talks are more advanced.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the North London side are open to adding all three attacking options to their squad before the closure of the transfer window.
Personal terms have already been agreed with Sporting CP striker Gyokeres and Chelsea winger Madueke, though negotiations are ongoing over the transfer fees for both players.
Talks with Eze are yet to reach the same stage but the player is open to a transfer to the Emirates and playing Champions League football. Eze has impressed across five seasons at Crystal Palace and has become a regular in the England squad.
The midfielder scored 14 goals in all competitions last season, including the winner in the FA Cup final win over Manchester City. He also netted his first England goal during March’s international break.
Arsenal want to add Eze to their options to increase their creativity in the final third. Martin Odegard endured an up-and-down 2024/25 season, while Arsenal lacked creativity during Bukayo Saka’s absence with a hamstring injury.
