Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to Atalanta standout Ademola Lookman to bolster their attack in these last days of the summer transfer window. Moreover, it appears as though the Ligue 1 side have sealed up the player when it comes to personal terms.

This week, journalist Alfredo Pedullà reported that Arsenal are ready to propose to Atalanta a €50 million plus Jakub Kiwior in exchange for Lookman. Meanwhile, Liverpool have also expressed interest in the forward, with the Serie A side setting a price tag of €65 million to €70 million.

Furthermore, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio informed that Lookman’s situation at Atalanta has calmed down. Additionally, the player is back in training and seems likely to stay.

Nonetheless, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Lookman has reached a verbal agreement with PSG and is eager to join the club immediately. The 26-year-old versatile striker is keen on making the move, and PSG are in direct contact with Atalanta to negotiate a permanent deal.

However, the talks have hit a snag, causing a delay. Arsenal is closely monitoring the situation and is ready to step in if the deal with PSG falls through.

Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Lookman has made a significant impact. Last season alone, the 26-year-old played in 45 matches, showcasing his impressive skills by scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists.

His standout performance came in the UEFA Europa League final, where he delivered a memorable hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen.
