La Liga leaders Barcelona are sweating over the availability of a leading member of the club’s midfield ranks for their return to action this weekend.
That’s according to Barca insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who points towards Dani Olmo as the player in question.
Hansi Flick and his coaching staff have already been forced to sweat over the readiness of one member of the club’s starting XI to face Real Sociedad on Sunday.
This comes with Pau Cubarsí dealing with a nasty facial injury suffered against Red Star Belgrade in midweek.
As alluded to above, though, on Saturday, another of the Blaugrana’s Spanish contingent has also seen his status thrown up in the air.
As per a report from Diario AS, Dani Olmo sat out training today owing to a combination of ‘gastroenteritis and a fever’.
The plan remains for the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital to travel with his teammates to Anoeta, but his participation, as things stand, is far from certain.
