Liverpool wrapped up their Premier League-winning season on Sunday with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, thanks to a late equaliser from Mohamed Salah that cancelled out Ismaila Sarr’s early goal at a buzzing Anfield.

Sarr put Palace ahead in the ninth minute after being set up by Tyrick Mitchell, who intercepted a sloppy pass from Conor Bradley.

Trent Alexander-Arnold came on at half-time to a warm welcome in his final Liverpool appearance and nearly set up Darwin Núñez with a great pass, only for Palace keeper Dean Henderson to make a solid save.

Despite going down to ten men after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off with just over 20 minutes left, Liverpool pulled level in the 84th minute when Salah scored his 29th league goal of the season, kicking off the party.

Salah’s goal also sealed his Golden Boot win and saw him equal the Premier League record for goal involvements, with 29 goals and 18 assists this season.
