Ruben Amorim says returning Man Utd trio Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee and Diogo Dalot can help his side beat Tottenham in the Europa League final.
All three returned to team training ahead of the clash in Bilbao and boss Amorim says they can play a part.
“They [Yoro, Zirkzee and Dalot] recovered quite well,” he said. “They pushed.
“Of course we respect the feeling of the player but we push a little bit because they want to be part of the team and that is a very good sign and it’s very good for us.
“Of course they are limited in the minutes for the game but they can help us win the game.
“I pick the best 11 to start the game and then it’s really important to have options off the bench to change the game. Sometimes that’s really important to win a final.”
Netherlands forward Zirkzee has not played since last month after limping off against Newcastle with a hamstring injury, with Amorim revealing afterwards that he could miss the rest of the season.
Dalot, meanwhile, has been sidelined in recent weeks with a calf injury, which Amorim also said could force him to miss the rest of the season.
And fellow defender Yoro also missed the defeat to Chelsea on Friday through injury.
Amorim also confirmed that Mathjis de Ligt will again miss out, however, with the injury he sustained in the defeat to Brentford.
While the United head coach believes beating Spurs to lift the trophy and seal a return to Champions League football will be important for the club, he says it will not fix most of their problems.
“I think it’s hard to speak about it in this moment because we need to be excited and confident but we already know the problems,” he said.
“There are a lot of things we need to change in our club. The way we do everything during the week in Carrington, the recruitment, the academy I think we need to improve.
“It’s hard to point one thing. That will not be solved by winning a cup. I will say it again, for me we have bigger things to deal with to put this club back to the top.
“Tomorrow, it will be important for us and our fans that feeling of winning can help us have the strength to do every job we have to do. We have a lot to do in our club, not just winning tomorrow but tomorrow will be massive for us and our fans.”
