Liverpool have revealed their starting eleven and substitutes for this afternoon’s Premier League game against Southampton at St Mary’s.

Arne Slot’s side sit at the top of the Premier League table and with title rivals Manchester City suffering a mini-meltdown have a golden opportunity to take advantage.

Beating Saints would put Liverpool a monster eight points clear of Manchester City ahead of playing them at Anfield next weekend.

Southampton though have proven to be tricky opponents at St Mary’s for Liverpool in recent years and the Reds have won one, drawn one and lost one of their last three visits.

The Reds are without Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa.

Caoimhin Kelleher is in goal for Liverpool today, while Conor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson form the back four.

Midfield sees Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones picked, while leading the attacking charge are Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.
