Monza head coach Alessandro Nesta spoke during today’s press conference to discuss the match against Roma.

When asked about Claudio Ranieri, Nesta did not hesitate to praise the Roman technician.

“Ranieri has remained in the history of the Premier League, he’s a good person. A gentleman in everything, an honest person even in his judgments and post-match appearances.”

“In that city he is an added value, not everyone can coach Roma and handle the Roman environment.”

“Will it be a different match for me than the others? I grew up in Rome and joined Lazio at 8 years old. I grew up with the Rome derby, I played the Milan derby but didn’t live it the way I lived the Rome derby. In Rome it’s a whole different thing, football is very important and not just a sport.”

“So yes, naturally I feel the anticipation for this match,” he added.
