Al Ahly've imposed heavy financial penalty on Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali after he failed to attend scheduled MRI scan to assess hamstring injury.

Missed Medical Session

Abou Ali who skipped physical tests on Monday due to muscle issue was expected to undergo MRI imaging on Tuesday morning.

However he didn't show up without providing explanation according to source speaking to Kooora.

The club’s sporting director Mohamed Youssef informed the player of the fine in line with team regulations.

Abou Ali's reportedly keen on move to Columbus Crew during the current summer transfer window and is believed to be applying pressure on Al Ahly to facilitate his departure.
