Agents of Barcelona target have offered the Blaugrana the chance to sign him in the summer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have been afforded the chance to bring in Marc Pubill during the upcoming summer transfer window.

That’s according to Barca insider Toni Juanmartí of Diario Sport, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

The name of defender Pubill will likely be a familiar one to those of a Blaugrana persuasion.

This comes with the Spanish youth international having been repeatedly tipped for a Camp Nou switch.

Just this week, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements at right-back, it was reiterated once more that Pubill remains a profile being strongly considered by Deco and the Barcelona transfer team.

And, if the latest word doing the rounds in the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then interest in a joining of forces for next season does not appear to be at all one-sided.

As per the aforementioned Toni Juanmartí:

‘Marc Pubill’s agents are continuing to offer the full-back, who would be delighted to sign for Barça.’

It is also noted, though, that to date, ‘no significant steps have been taken’ towards a transfer.
