Reaching a figure such as 100 Liga MX matches speaks of consistency and hard work over a long period of time, and that is precisely the case of Adriana Iturbide, who last Thursday joined the select group of Chivas Femenil players to play 100 matches with the Rojiblanca in the pink circuit.
'Boyi' became the 17th player of the Rebaño Sagrado to reach this milestone, and has undoubtedly represented Guadalajara like few others, being an example of commitment, perseverance and teamwork since her arrival at the institution for the Apertura 2022. It was on July 11, 2022 when the 'Doctor of Goal' was presented in society with the Rojiblanca, for Day 1 of the Apertura tournament, where the Chiverío also premiered its crown as champion of the Liga MX Femenil.
Her first goal for Chivas Femenil was not long in coming, as a week later she opened the scoring against Necaxa at the Fortaleza Rojiblanca, anticipating her marker and scoring first to beat the Centellas' net.
Iturbide has now played six tournaments in which he has left his soul for Mexico's most beloved and popular team, helping the Rebaño qualify for the Liguilla at every opportunity, and in which he has won the affection of the Rojiblanca Nation thanks to his perseverance and charisma.
As if that weren't enough, 'Boyi' is getting closer and closer to sitting at an even more exclusive table in the history of Chivas Femenil, as she is only 4 goals away from entering the Top 3 of the club's top goal scorers.
Congratulations on your first 100 games with Guadalajara, 'Doctora', may there be many more to come!
