Eintracht Frankfurt and its new kit supplier are also joining forces for the ADIDAS U.S. TOUR from 22 July to 3 August in Louisville and Philadelphia.

Eintracht Frankfurt and adidas have been side by side again since 1 July 2025, with the Hesse club wearing the famous three stripes of the sportswear manufacturer from Herzogenaurach on its jerseys for the third time in its history. The two companies previously worked together between 1974 and 1978 and from 1980 to 1987. The wide-ranging partnership, initially agreed for five years, covers the men’s and women’s professional teams as well as the athletes who represent Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. In addition, adidas will accompany the Eagles on their pre-season preparations and appear in Louisville and Philadelphia as the official partner of the ADIDAS U.S. TOUR from 22 July to 3 August.

It will be far from the first adventure that Eintracht Frankfurt and adidas have shared a long way from home. The 1980s in particular saw them go truly international, with appearances in Tunis in 1985, Casablanca in 1982, and Kuwait, Dubai, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong in 1981. In 1980, both ended up in Port Said, Egypt. A remarkable footnote: on 7 August 1983, Eintracht defeated Real Madrid 2-1 in the Zanussi Cup in Udine – also with the three stripes on their chests.

A friendly against Aston Villa, like the one taking place this summer, also connects Eintracht and adidas: Frankfurt visited Birmingham on 22 November 1976, and the Premier League club will be Eintracht’s friendly opponents again in Louisville on 26 July. Villa have also had adidas as their supplier since last season.
