AC Milan enter talks to sign Marseille’s Adrien Rabiot | OneFootball

With transfer deadline day looming, Adrien Rabiot’s (30) future has yet to be clarified. The Frenchman is still officially on the transfer list at Olympique de Marseille, following a dressing room bust-up with Jonathan Rowe on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season. Rowe has already left, joining Bologna on a permanent deal, and Rabiot could follow the Englishman in making a move to Italy.

Marseille’s demands are clear. The club want €15m for the France international, whose contract with the club expires at the end of the season. There has been interest from the Premier League, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa linked with a move.

However, it is AC Milan who have opened talks with the player’s entourage, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. AC Milan are currently managed by Max Allegri, who shares a close relationship with Rabiot. Talks over personal terms are ongoing.
