Kolo Muani has been training with his new team for a few days but formally joined Juventus only on Thursday.

“Kolo Muani can probably link up more with his teammates, and he has the ability to attack the space,” ex-Juventus and Napoli defender Ciro Ferrara said during the DAZN pre-match show.

Vlahovic has recently recovered from an injury, but ex-Milan midfielder Ambrosini is certain that Motta’s decision to bench the striker has nothing to do with it.

“Absolutely, and it’s a matter of discussion,” he said.

“It’s a clear, legitimate choice, and Motta has the right to make it, but it clearly makes headlines.”

Motta explained during a pre-match interview that Kolo Muani “is a player Juventus had been looking for” while Vlahovic “reacted very well.”
