Despite scoring against Inter on Wednesday night, AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham has stated that he was not happy with the game.

For Milan fans, despite the fact that they could not hold on to a 1-0 lead, there will be a lot of positives to take from the game against the Nerazzurri in midweek. For starters, the Rossoneri led the game, rather than going behind, something which has been a commodity.

More importantly, though, the Diavolo extended their unbeaten streak against Inter, something which is a real breath of fresh air after the past few years of humiliation against their bitter rivals. However, there was still a desire for more last night.

Tammy Abraham, the scorer of the first goal in the game, spoke after the game about his feelings scoring another goal, but it seemed there were bigger things on his mind, as Milan News relayed from San Siro.

Satisfaction or regrets?

“I’m really happy for the goal for me and for the team. Then we didn’t win, so we’re not happy and we have to fight for the next game, being positive, aware that we are a good team.”

“It’s a difficult season for everyone. But we have other games, every game is a final. We want to play in Europe. We want to try to win the Italian Cup.”

“There are always ups and downs. I would have liked to score more. But the season is not over. There are eleven games to fight for.”

Would you like to stay at AC Milan?

“I don’t know my future now. Milan is a great club, very passionate. I want to fight until the end for this club. Staying doesn’t depend only on me.”
