For the remaining part of this winter transfer window, FC Barcelona are looking to land a winger that will allow Hansi Flick to have another option up his sleeve to replace one of his three attacking players, i.e., Lewandowski, Yamal, or Raphinha whenever the situation demands.

However, for the next summer transfer window, one of the big decisions that the Catalans will have to make will be regarding the incorporation of a striker who can replace Robert Lewandowski.

The Pole has been playing at a very high level this season and is also on track to reach the number of games that will activate his automatic contract extension clause, but he is already 36 years of age, and it is clear he has only a few years left to play at the highest level.

For this purpose, securing their two primary targets, Erling Haaland and Viktor Gyökeres, is proving to be a significant challenge for Barcelona. Haaland recently signed a contract extension with Manchester City, solidifying his future at the club, while Gyökeres is drawing substantial interest from several other teams, intensifying the competition for his signature.

In such a scenario, another striker whose name the Catalans are already considering is the Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

SPORT reports that the €60m-rated Juventus forward has already been offered to the Blaugrana side by an agent who is quite close to the Serbian striker’s entourage, and thus, he can be an option for Barcelona if he does not complete his move to Arsenal in January.

His current contract with Arsenal is ending in 2026, and Juventus paid a record transfer fee of €80 million for his signing. Thus, if he does not renew his contract with the Italian side, he will have to move in the next summer, and currently, at only 24 years of age, he can be a highly interesting option for FC Barcelona.
