5 clubs tipped as potential summer destinations for Barcelona star | OneFootball

No fewer than five leading clubs from across the continent have this week been tipped as potential landing spots for Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen.

This, of course, comes ahead of the German’s widely predicted Camp Nou departure.

With Espanyol standout Joan García set to be unveiled as a Barcelona player any day now, and a contract renewal being lined up for Wojciech Szczęsny, Ter Stegen, all of a sudden, finds himself as the odd man out in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Though the 33-year-old has himself remained adamant that he will be going nowhere this summer, the expectation, when all is said and done, is that Ter Stegen’s Barca chapter will be brought to a definitive close.

And as alluded to above, this week, a quintet of clubs have been credited with an alleged interest in the shot-stopper.

As per a report from Diario Sport, citing German outlet BILD, the following five clubs can all be considered contenders for Ter Stegen this summer:

AC Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Newcastle United.
