The League Two side are in possession of one of the most exciting teenage prospects in the English game.
Wright, 17, has already made his senior debuts in League Two and the FA Cup and his exploits at youth and underage level have put him on the radar of several big clubs - Liverpool included.
He scored over 40 goals for the various Salford sides last season with the 6’3 striker already looking ready for the next step.
Liverpool would probably utilise Wright in their youth and academy set-up should he join - but the Reds will have to hold off interest from Manchester City to land the frontman.
The Reds are reported to have made an offer for Wright - although according to a new report in the Daily Mail they are still waiting to hear back on that front.
That delay has seen City propose a bid - said to be worth over £100,000 plus add-ons. According to the same report, Arsenal, Brentford, Leicester and Burnley are all hoping to land the teen marksman.
