Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is on the lookout for some new players at King Power Stadium. And I can almost guarantee you that City will be relegated without the appropriate help. It's not dire on Filbert Way just yet - but it is heading that way. City can certainly survive if their current squad improve and is sufficiently added to.
You've probably heard from media speculation that LCFC are supposedly interested in strengthening several areas of the team. First of all, a new centre back is sought and absolutely needed. I mean, filling open gaps at the back via inadequate Foxes with a new signing is actually essential at this point!
Next on Leicester's reported wishlist is a full back. With James Justin enduring a nightmare campaign and Victor Kristiansen definitely struggling, this is another no-brainer. Finally, Leicester are said to be after someone to take their wing play to a higher next level. I believe Abdul Fatawu was potentially that man; the Ghanaian is sadly injured. Therefore when considering available roster options, maybe another wideman is appropriate.
And van Nistelrooy could raid his former side Manchester United for prospective loans or (less likely) permanent acquisitions. Which Red Devils is the Dutchman conceivably looking at bringing to the east Midlands? Do any Old Trafford deals seem probable? Who exactly are these four Man United players according to claims?
Lindelöf would be an upgrade at Leicester. Unfortunately Fabrizio Romano has provided a negative update on this one:
"For Leicester, despite the links we had with Victor Lindelöf, I’m not sure the player is keen on leaving Man United to go to Leicester in January."Fabrizio Romano
It is now suggested that Collyer could go to the Championship. The DM is, however, ready to leave Utd temporarily.
Gore was part of Caught Offside's LCFC report; the midfielder remains tipped for a loan. This is a plausible move for the east Midlanders.
