Barcelona star Pau Víctor has on Friday become the latest member of the Blaugrana’s squad to provide an insight into the punctuality demands laid out by Hansi Flick this season.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that new Barcelona head coach Flick has implemented some strict rules on his players since his appointment in the summer.

As much has been confirmed by a number of the Blaugrana’s stars, with the subject of punctuality, time and time again, having come to the fore.

Flick is unwavering in his stance that his players should not be even a solitary minute late for any of team meetings, training sessions, or matchday duties.

Speaking during an interview with Xapa La Ràdio this week, Barca star Pau Víctor, in turn, was asked for a fresh insight into his manager’s methods.

And, in quotes gathered by Mundo Deportivo, the 22-year-old went on to explain:

“When he set the rules I wasn’t there yet, but I saw them when I arrived and they warned me that I had to be careful. He is very strict about punctuality, if he says 11 o’clock on the pitch and you arrive three seconds late, he thinks you’re late.”
