3 Barcelona stars have played the most minutes of their careers this season | OneFootball

Three members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have surpassed their record tallies for minutes played in a single season, in 2024/25.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí as the players in question.

In the case of the latter pair, as much should come as little surprise, with both in just their 2nd seasons at senior level, and continuing to grow in stature in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Pedri’s consistent availability, though, is a new and hugely welcome bonus stemming from the work done by Flick and his coaching staff.

Previously considered as being highly injury prone, the 22-year-old is now one of the first names on the Barcelona team sheet each and every week.

So much so that he too has set a new benchmark for minutes played this season.
