2nd Barcelona star’s links with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr clarified | OneFootball

Clarification regarding the recent rumours linking a 2nd member of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona with a move to Saudi outfit Al-Nassr has come to the fore online.

This comes amid the assurance that Ferran Torres will not be following former teammate Iñigo Martínez to Riyadh before the summer is out.

The name of frontman Ferran reemerged as a prominent one in the transfer chatter across Spain this past weekend.

As much came amid claims that the aforementioned Al-Nassr had set their sights on an audacious deal for the former Manchester City man.

Al-Nassr are of course fresh off striking a surprise agreement for another member of Hansi Flick’s squad, in defender Iñigo Martínez.

As alluded to above, though, Ferran has no intention of joining his fellow countryman in the Middle East.

As per a report from market expert Fabrizio Romano:

‘Al Nassr are not working on Ferran Torres deal. Zero talks, no interest on both sides, Al Nassr are confident to get Kingsley Coman deal done in 24/48h as winger addition… and Ferran’s only focused on Barça.’
