A 2nd member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Tuesday made public his hope of Manchester City star Erling Haaland landing at the club.
Frontman Haaland is for his part of course in the midst of nothing short of a historic opening to the new campaign.
Across Premier League champions Man City’s first four fixtures, the Norwegian managed to find the net on a remarkable nine occasions.
This follows on from the former Borussia Dortmund standout breaking countless records en route to six pieces of silverware across his first two seasons in English football.
And one individual who recently made clear his the opinion that such form would carry over seamlessly into Spanish football comes in the form of Pedri.
Asked earlier this month to name the one player across world football whom he would like to call a teammate at Barcelona, midfielder Pedri showed little hesitation in pointing towards Haaland.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, such a call was backed by a 2nd member of Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad.
During an interview with Jijantes, as cited by Diario Sport, Marc Casadó was asked:
“If you could be Deco for a day and had all the money in the world, which footballer would you sign for Barça?”
And engine room starlet Casadó went on to respond:
“Following what Pedri said in another interview, I will say Haaland.”
