With the full squad now back in Barcelona, the team is preparing for the Joan Gamper Trophy game. However, it seems the club is already facing some personnel issues due to fatigue and other concerns.
As pointed out by Victor Navarro, Dani Olmo trained separately today due to muscle overload. With just a few days left before the game against Como, this is hardly the kind of news the club would have wanted to hear, as it certainly puts Olmo on the doubtful list for the upcoming clash.

Unfortunately, Olmo is not the only one who has faced similar issues in recent weeks. Previously, Ferran Torres was originally a doubt for the Joan Gamper Trophy game, but has only recently rejoined training and is no longer seen as a doubt.
A player that will definitely miss the game, however, is Polish ace Robert Lewandowski. With the club officially confirming that he will not be taking part in the game due to a hamstring issue, it seems clear enough that Barça’s options are decreasing by the day.
Even when it comes to the team’s defense, Spanish centre-back Inigo Martinez is now expected to leave the club. From front to back, the club is already dealing with a shortage of players even before the official season has kicked off.
Hopefully, the issue with Olmo is minor and the 27-year-old midfield star can return to action soon. A valuable player for Hansi Flick, his presence will be important for the team against Como, and even more so once the official season kicks off.
