2025 K League Summer Transfer Window Closes With 109 New Registrations | OneFootball

The 2025 K League summer transfer window is now closed, but not before a flurry of deadline-day business and some big moves. But, which teams were the busiest?

From June 1 to July 24, K League clubs had around eight weeks to register new players. A total of 109 players were registered across K League 1 and K League 2. Players who were discharged from military service, or those who transitioned from loan status to full transfer or free agent status without changing teams, are not included in this count, however.

In K League 1, 46 players were registered. By category:

This includes 30 domestic players and 16 foreign players.

In K League 2, 63 players were registered. By category:

This includes 48 domestic players and 15 foreign players.

In K League 1, Daejeon signed the most players with eight new additions. Although Daejeon has fallen behind league leaders Jeonbuk, the Purples remain firmly in second place. They were followed by Daegu and Suwon FC, each signing six players, as both clubs seek to avoid relegation.

In K League 2, Gyeongnam FC and Seoul E-Land both led with eight signings each.

Meanwhile, for international transfers, as long as the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) application is completed during the registration period, registration can still be processed even after the deadline.
