QPR striker Rayan Kolli has been one of the bright sparks in an otherwise fairly dismal season at Loftus Road.

The 20-year-old Algerian centre-forward first emerged from QPR's academy system last season, but failed to score in any of his 11 appearances in the first-team last term.

However, he's burst into goalscoring life when given the opportunity this season, having bagged four goals and two assists from 15 Championship appearances so far this season, as well as adding another goal and assist in the FA Cup (correct as of AM 8 April).

His exciting form and rapid development hasn't gone unnoticed, however, with Foot Mercato claiming that French sides AS Monaco and Lille are interested in the talented young forward, as are Saudi Arabian sides Al-Hilal and Damac respectively.

The report claims that Lille have tabled a contract proposal to the QPR man, whilst also stating that Damac have made a formal offer too, but no details of the finances involved have been reported.

We asked our QPR fan pundit, Louis Moir: 'Monaco, Lille and Saudi clubs want QPR's rising star Rayan Kolli. Thoughts? Should the club do all they can to keep hold of one of their prized assets this summer?'

Moir said: "It's no surprise that clubs are looking at Rayan Kolli.

"The ability that he showed and the numbers that he's put up in the games he has played outside of injury, it's been exceptional to be fair.

"He's been consistent when he's played, he's been scoring goals, he's contributed to a couple of goals, and obviously it makes it even better that he's come through the youth academy at QPR since he was a really young lad.

"So, we might finally be having the sort of hidden gem academy prospect that's been coming through, and you want to keep those sort of players. But, clubs are going to be highlighting him as a big potential talent.

"It's just as well that he signed a new deal with us, because obviously that could enable us to get more money for him. There's always an offer to accept on any player, depending on how much that is."

"You could even argue" - Price-tag slapped on QPR's Rayan Kolli amid AS Monaco, Lille, Saudi Arabia interest

Given how young Kolli is, his contract situation, and the impact he's had when fit this season, there are plenty of reasons as to why QPR will feel as though they can bank a big payday should they decide to sell the Algerian this summer.

But how much can they really expect to get for their academy graduate? "Say that's true and clubs are looking at him, especially clubs in Saudi Arabia, for a guy who's highly talented and is only going to get better, you've got to be looking at a good few million pounds," Moir continued.

"You could even argue he's worth £10m+. His age, what he's shown so far, his potential, that would maybe put clubs off. So, I think we've got to try and keep hold of him, because he looks to be some talent.

"He will only get better, but if a big offer came in, you'd have to start questioning what to do, because obviously that could be massive in terms of accepting that and investing it into the rest of the squad in the summer."
