Zalewski Revisits Summer Decision, Praises Mourinho

Nicola Zalewski had the opportunity to flee Roma in the summer as he was put on sale due to his short-term contract. He was welcomed back into the squad by Ivan Juric after being frozen out in September. He mused on what happened from Poland’s setup (via Corriere dello Sport).

“I was very close to Galatasaray and then to PSV in the summer. I analyzed everything and came to the decision that it was best for me to stay in Rome. In the end, I’m a fan of the team. Zalewski thanked his coaches and singled out one.

“If I’m here, it’s because I have had managers of the caliber of José Mourinho, Daniele De Rossi, and Juric who believed in him. That’s very helpful.
