While things didn't work out quite as planned in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga this season, our co-operation partners have been able to celebrate two league titles in the ÖFB Youth Leagues.
The U16 team from the Red Bull Football Academy took a superb 4-0 win over Sturm Graz in the penultimate matchday to move a point ahead of St. Pölten, who have already played all 22 matches. Austria Vienna are five points behind with one match still to play, meaning our trip to Altach at the weekend will have no bearing on the fact that our boys are taking the title.
Our U15 team have been just as successful. The 4-2 win against their young Graz counterparts keeps them three points ahead of their closest rivals, Rapid. The club from the capital could technically finish level on points, but our boys have the upper hand on head-to-head encounters thanks to a 5-0 win and narrow 1-2 defeat. Our Matteo Silvio Maric is also top of the scoring charts in the U15 league with 20 goals - some five more ahead of his closest rivals, meaning the top scorers' crown is surely heading his way.
There was disappointment however for the U18 team of our academy, who drew against Sturm Graz and saw their title hopes end with one match to go. As the U18 Austrian title brings with it entry into the 2025/26 UEFA Youth League, they will be left hoping our first team qualify for the UEFA Champions League next summer to send them into the tournament.
As Bundesliga runners-up, we are entering the fray to make the 2025/26 Champions League with our Red Bulls contesting the second qualifying round in July. Details on the draw and our potential opponents can be read here:
